A Burns night in Warwickshire

by Wendy
(Kenilworth, England)

I googled recipe for Tipsy Laird for a Burns night supper with friends.

We're having 10 friends round for dinner(with their 16 children, though they will not be eating with us thanks to PS3's and MTV).

Our friends are all English as am I, but my partner's roots are in Perth, Scotland, and he celebrates his Scottishness as much as possible.
We will be piping in the haggis and having a few drinks tomorrow night as well as showing off the tartan.

Scottish traditions are for all to enjoy!
by: James Wheatley

Impressive catering!
My son is at Warwick and has just taken a house in Kenilworth I shall sent him and his crew round for dinner!
Try a haggis from Tesco's.
Cut in half to form a 'bikini'. Place cut side down onto a dab of oil on an oven tray. Surround with good oven chips, wack in oven for 40 minutes.
Serve with peas or baked beans.
Quick, filling and nutritious, great for busy mums.

Neaps an' tatties are for Burns night, this is for living.

Does Rab good to turn in his grave occasionally!
