A taste of Scotland

by Bianca Craig
(Rock creek, British Columbia,Canada)

me at home 2007

I'd like to say how much I enjoy this site. Everything is easy to read and there is plenty of great information. What brought me to the enchanting Kingdom was that I was looking for a fish & chips recipe. So I looked further and found lots of interesting things to read and some more recipes of course.

I used to live in Scotland when I was young and now live in Canada. I miss my past culture and it’s really hard to try and explain how I feel about Scotland to my children so they enjoy reading about the history and what the Scottish flags mean etc. This way I believe they can have a taste of Scotland and try some of the recipes too :)

I did contact May with a question I had, and to my surprise she responded very quickly. I felt she was warm hearted and helpful which only made me want to keep up with everything else she had to offer on this site.

So someday I will need to visit Fife. A great place to visit by the sounds of it!! Thanks again May, I have your website in my favorites box.

You look lovely Bianca
by: May

Dear Bianca
How nice to see a picture of you - and you look lovely! Thank you for your kind comments on my site. I'm so pleased you and your family are enjoying it. Sorry I still haven't been able to answer your question yet - still working on it!

I'm glad you're holding on to your Scottish heritage and are teaching it to your children. I do hope you will manage a trip over sometime.

By the way - do have a look at my Homecoming Scotland Page; 2009 is going to be a fabulous year to visit Scotland.

Best wishes
May
