Birthplace

I was born at 5 West Albert road, Kirkcaldy in 1939 - just before the war broke out - and lived there for about 4 / 5 yrs. My father was the boss at the Electricity Board - I can't remember his title but I know he was well respected. ( I still have letters referring to him and giving him a reference for his promotions an other positions) His name was Mr G F Moore.

Unfortunately we moved from Kirkcaldy to Musselburgh and I don't remember much about those years but I do remember the lions sitting very proudly outside the park ( the name I also can't remember) I will remember as soon as I send this! ( was it Regents Park?)
Is Albert Road still going strong? And are the lions still there?

Park with lions in Kirkcaldy
by: Anonymous

The park with the lions was/is the Beveridge Park named after a well known Labour chap.
