Natural beauty
by: Captain Pugwash

I really enjoy these life-like, life-size sculptures that are placed around Glenrothes.

Also it's really nice to see a mixture of sculptures, some more abstract and need a lot of thought and others that can be understood by everyone at face value. This is in the latter group.

It's great fun to watch them and see the response of people as they sit down next to them - especially young children.

The setting of this work is also part of the artistic expression, being in the Foyer of the Rothes Halls and in a very natural way placed where it is, naturally on the public seating, adds to its expression and enjoyment.

love it
by: Susan

Now this is more my cup of tea, I do like the couple and the pose. I would be tempted to sit beside them. As you say I wonder what's the story and a copper for their thoughts would be good. I haven't been to the Rothes halls either, so I guess I need to take a trip over there and really spend some time in the town instead of the beaches (or really as well!!!) There's just so much to see and do and never enough time to check it all out. Have to book up and visit again soon.
