whisky or whiskey its all braw
by: SMS

I suppose bourbon and whiskey are variations from friends across the Atlantic, but what would make it a Scottish recipe is the one without the "e". I'm not an officianado or anything but have seen an offer recently for Islay Single Malt so might put it to the test soon. Think with the nip in the air at night now, this wee nip might chase away some of the chill. Maybe its a hot toddie recipe I should be looking for!

Me & Thee soon!

Sounds lovely John

I would also recommend A RICH bourbon as well as a whiskey and Evan Williams at that. Also, someone gave me some WELSH whiskey a couple of months ago, I kid ye not! However it was grand!

The warming the glass is a good idea...now I know what I have been doing wrong!

Can I have one NOW!!

I totally agree - lovely way to finish a Dinner Party. Yes, I like the idea of its "warm glow enfolding me".
