Getting back to my Scottish Roots

by Janice Sutherland Craig
(Toronto, Ontario, Canada)

Hi May,
Both my Parents were Born and bred in Scotland, (Falkirk, Sterlingshire and Stenhousemuir) Unfortunately my Mum has passed but since caring for my Dad in the last several years, I've really been into cooking a lot of the Scottish fare I grew up on. I decided to started looking for recipes I couldn't find from my Mom's book and fell upon your site, quite by accident but I love it.....Lots of things that remind me of childhood.
Thanks for the great recipes and walk down memory lane.
I've been to Scotland a few times and loved it, especially the wee Tea Shoppes I would go to with my aunties for a nice cup'a and a cream cake.
Sincerely,
Janice Sutherland Craig
