I Love The Lomonds ©

by Robbie Kennedy Bennett
(Codsall)

I wish I could see the Lomonds
Each morning when I rise,
I love the Lomonds
An impressive sight they are to my eyes.
The Lovely Lomonds
Their stature stands supreme,
In the picturesque Fife landscape scene.
The Lomonds sadly everyday
Are hundreds of miles away,
The Lomonds I then compromise
I see when I close my eyes.

Robbie has written some other fabulous poems about Fife - some of which are on this site. But do check out his own site RKB Poetry

I love the Lomonds too!!

Robbie, another nice wee poem, with your love of Fife shining through. I see this view every day from my home - so I guess I'm very privileged. The Lomonds stand out so much and you can see them from so many parts of Fife.
