Looking for a Poem

I everyone, this lady emailed me looking for a poem. I have never heard of it, but maybe one of the visitors to this site knows it and will kindly add it. If you do know - please submit it and state the poet if you know him/her.

Perhaps you may be able to help me. I'm looking for a poem about an old lady who has nothing and yet takes in a whole collection of animals because they are needy. When the old lady eventually dies she goes to heaven and the animals argue for her that she should be allowed into heaven because of her good deeds. can you help me please? its such a lovely poem but i cant find it can you please help.
