If The Answer is Walking Tomorrow ©

by Robbie Kennedy Bennett
(Codsall)

I'd walk a mile today,
if children could safely play.
I'd walk two miles tomorrow,
for September the eleventh and sorrow.
I'd walk from May to December,
and pray to the lord and remember.
I'd walked in the rain and in snow,
for the pain they were suffering would go.
Next year when they still feel the pain,
I'd walk it all over again.
If the answer is walking tomorrow,
I wonder how many would follow?
Loved ones for what they are worth,
I'd walk to the end of the earth.
