Th’ Shores o’ Fife ©

Sparkle o’ th’ salty sea, artistically attracting me,
Pursuing life there on th’ shores o’ Fife.

Land for miles seems endlessly I walk and wander tirelessly,
Pursuing life there on th’ shores o’ Fife.
The bays and braes along th’ shores o’ Fife

Occasionally an abandoned home I stumble on as I roam,
Pursuing life there on th’ shores o’ Fife.

A separate time an equal place a person with a different face,
Pursuing life there on th’ shores o’ Fife.
The bays and braes along th’ shores o’ Fife

Irresponsibly birds they fly spectacularly, aggressively,
Pursuing life there on th’ shores o’ Fife.

Wildlife always close at hand little footprints in the sand,
Pursuing life there on th’ shores o’ Fife.
The bays and braes along th’ shores o’ Fife

This feast thereby upon this earth increased existence and my worth,
Pursuing life there on th’ shores o’ Fife.

Am I foolish with my honesty to share this joy with thee?
Pursuing life there on th’ shores o’ Fife.
The bays and braes along th’ shores o’ Fife

Ocean choreography, exciting fighting strife,
Pursuing life there on th’ shores o’ Fife.

Ay it’s grand there on th’ shores o’ Fife.
