The Cow Shed

The Cow Shed

My husband and I often walk to a nearby farm in village of Crossford, in the Kingdom of Fife. Crossford is a village in west Fife; you get to it on the road from Kincardine Bridge to Dunfermline via the village of Cairneyhill.

Like much of Fife the area is very rural with farm after farm, some with dairy herds or sheep others with grains.

This particular farm where we walk to has a cow shed. It makes us laugh because we stand and look at the cows who stand and look at us!

It might not be a picture-postcard view of one of the lovely spots in Fife, and indeed it probably isn't something unique to the Kingdom, but I hope you enjoy it.

Did you see that?
by: John

I just love the expressions of these beasts. When I look at it, I imagine them talking about what they had seen.

'There's a Haggis!'..'No its a rabbit!'..'Where? I didn't see it'..' ....Who cares, I'm starving!'
And so it goes on.

I think they were probably discussing you Jennifer! Great photo - love it.

Maybe we could run a competition for the funniest suggestions!

Cute Photo
by: May

Fife is such a rural area that cows or sheep are almost in every other field, but this picture is great.

Can't help wonder what they were thinking when you took that photograph.

Thanks for this glimpse into rural Fife.
