Dear May,
I found this site when I was searching for poetry on the web, and it brought back happy memories when we stayed in Glenrothes in the late 60's and 70's. I walked the lomonds many a time, as well as the coast. I've ran in the Glenrothes half marathon many times, and we still have friends in Glenrothes, Thornton, and Leven.
I would like to thank you especially, for allowing me to share my poetry on your site,I started writing while attending Maggies Cancer Centre in Dundee, they gave me the motivation, and The Girl on the Black Sands of Aberdour,I specially wrote for Kate, the Relaxation Therapist, who told me about when she was a young girl and of the Black Sands that she played on.
I hope to do short stretches of the fife coastal path towards the end of the year, the northern half has some amazing views, it might inspire me some more.
I log on to your site every week, I like the recipes, as I am also interested in Scottish cookery.
Thank you once again.
