Venice Avritt Brickett

I was looking for Scottish Christmas ornaments and recipes. My cousin did a family tree and found that the very first Avritt came from somewhere in Scotland. I'm trying to learn about my heritage and this website is filled with so many interesting bits of info. I am from Alabama, USA, but would love to visit Scotland one day.
