CHEESEBOARD

Cheeseboard

The small glass dome crowns a circular base
of pale beech hardwood with a silken face.
It can show four cheeses, but if large only three.
One is Cheddar, one is Stilton, another one is Brie.
The largest wedge is Cheddar, in classic orange hue,
The second wedge is Stilton; its marbled veins are blue.
The smallest cheese is snow-white, the Brie in virgin state.
We hope all seem inviting for people staying late.

Mouthwatering!
by: May

Nice wee poem from another cheese lover. Of course none of these cheeses are made in Scotland. Scottish cheeses are well worth trying - and for those visiting The Kingdom - there is a wonderful tempting Cheese Shop in St Andrews.
