A Glimpse of Gold in Kirkcaldy ©

by Robbie Kennedy Bennett
(Codsall)

A wee glimpse of the gleaming of gold,
In Kirkcaldy the morn is about to unfold.
Awaking natural sense,
Light breaks the shield of nighttime defence.
Emerging from the concealment of night,
Out of the darkness born is the light.
In Kirkcaldy I’m significantly sold,
By a glimpse of the gleaming of gold.

Robbie has written some other fabulous poems about Fife - some of which are on this site. But do check out his own site RKB Poetry

Glorious Picture

This picture certainly shows a wee glimpse of 'gold'. Who would have that that this was Kirkcaldy? Thanks for sharing it.
