I wss born in the prefabs,1946 Whitehall Av. I think it was called then, Peg and Eck were my parents,we lived next door to the Allens,our back gardens looked onto the woods, Keith Allen was my age, I think his mum cut gents hair at Torleys barbers shop, Keith went to Denend school wi' me eventually,also Mary Watson who went to school at the same time, lived opposite.I often see her still and her sister Jean. We moved to Dundonald around 1950 to No.64 Dundonald Pk.I left there when I was 19.My family stayed there until my mothers death a few years ago.I am now retired and living in Leven and loving it.
