Iver The Hill

by Frank Maguire
(England)

Iver the hill an far awa
Yer luv wull be wae me
Wherever a may wander
Iver land, ur iver sea

It wull be ma brightest beacon
It wull be ma guidin light
Locked sae deep within ma hert
Forever shinin bright

When days ur filled wae emptiness
When nichts, lasts endlessly
My hert wull be content awhile
Wae lovin thoughts o ye

Ye always wull be close tae me
Ye always wull be near
Within ma spirit, mind an soul
Wae every passin year

An when ma life, it fades awa
An when a cease tae be
Jist like today, a always will
Be sae in luv wae ye
