He’d leave Glasgow at 10 o’ clock
He handed his money to the ticket man
“A single tae London” said Jock
The ticket man gave Jock his ticket
And he said to him “Change at Crewe”
Jock said “If it’s okay with you pal,
I’ll have ma change the noo”
